FinForces' core team
Dieter Crappé
Dieter has more than 20 years of experience by leading and executing strategic financial assignments both as a strategic financial management consultant and as an operational manager within corporations. This unique combination allows him to design solutions which are fitted for immediate and day-to-day usage.
He has guided his customers – corporations, SMEs, scale-ups and start-up’s – to obtain sustainable growth by supporting them in the area of strategic finance, M&A, financial management and digital strategy.
Dieter has a large experience in B2C, B2B and B2B2C oriented business models within the TMT (Telecom, Media & Technology), energy and consumer goods industry. He has also served as an advisor to (international) private equity players.
Before founding PUSH Consulting & FinForces, Dieter was Chief Strategy & Financial Officer at MPlus Group, a joint venture backed by KPN, De Persgroep, Roularta and VMMa to develop new business models based on the conversion of telecom and media services. As part of this assignment, Dieter was also managing JIM Mobile, one of the most successful MVNO’s in Belgium (600k customers, +€45mn revenue and +€25mn EBITDA).
Dieter worked as Senior Corporate Development Manager at KPN Mobile International between 2007 and 2011. During this period he was involved in multiple M&A transactions to strengthen KPN’s value chain. His main focus was deal execution, business modelling, valuation, SPA negotiations and due diligence. As part of his corporate development role, he also managed several projects to develop new business, design the commercial strategy of the acquired assets, frequency auctions and partnership establishment.
Prior joining KPN, Dieter was an advisor within the Transaction Management & Business restructuring team of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Brussels, serving several (inter) national clients across different sectors.
Dieter has a degree in Applied Economics from the University of Ghent and has a MBA in Finance from the Vlerick Management School.
